IR has been doing a tool of the month program for the last year or so but previously you needed to buy a calendar to have access to the coupons. Well no longer. The following pdf outlines each month's offers and has the coupons in there. This is a great way to help increase sales.

There is a error on page 66 of the new March April 2010 catalog. In the table at the bottom of the page it lists the OTC 3696CLX08 Genisys scan tool as including an upgrade coupon for the System 4.0 memory. This was a printing error and the 3696CLX08 will NOT include the 4.0 upgrade.

However - The 3696CLX08 is a very good value for new Genisys buyers who do not need the 2009 software coverage. It has a sharp price and it comes with the 2008 Domestic, Asian, and Abs/Airbag software already installed. No need to wait for upgrades via mail in coupons, which can be a good selling point for your customer.

The new 3696CLX09 will include the 2009 software upgrade coupon and the System 4.0 Memory upgrade coupon

This is a new product that had me thinking gimmick when I first saw it. But proof is in the pudding so to speak, and Rapid Fix is pretty dang amazing. I have yet to put it to use in an emergency but so far I have been very impressed with some items I have 'glued' together and just playing around with the adhesive and welding powder. I thought this was a pretty cool and well made tool with at least one feature I had not seen before - the T-Handle can function as a spinner handle for quick fastener installation and removal. It is pretty standard in its mix of included bits (S2 steel of course) but has a good 'well made' feel to it and a nice case is included.

Two errors have been brought to my attention in the 1/1/2010 112 pg flyer.

TTN 36038 LED flash light on page 6 is advertised as a 12 pack. This is not correct. It is a single piece and priced as such. 12 pack counter  display is available by ordering part number TTN 36038-12PK.

THD 116701 plasma cutter on page 51 is advertised as the CutMaster 82 - this is not correct. The 116701 is the CutSkill-70A. It has a out amperage range of 25 to 80 amps and a duty cycle of 35% @ 70 amps. Cut capacity remains at 1".

Please take note of these errors. Sorry for any inconvenience they caused.
